Trip to see my Grandparents
I took the scenic way
In June 2003, I took my first long roadtrip by myself. That is to say, I drove to a destination without returning home before midnight. Since my parents weren't with me, I went a different way: through Illinois on I-72, down US 54 in Missouri, and then I-44 and US 69 in Oklahoma. Coming back, my mom was with me (she drove down to meet me in OK) so I had to curtail the scenery a bit, but persuaded her to go through Northwest Arkansas and back up to I-44 in Missouri. Then home. The top picture is of the equipment on my grandparents' farm near Council Hill. Enjoy these pictures; I know I enjoyed taking them.
