House Construction Update

October 2004

This is the beginnings of a house on the beach!  Look how close it is to the next house over.

The high patriarch surveys his domain.

In the thick of the construction.

The view back out to the street.  You can bet the people on the other side of the street are thrilled to have us building right in front of their view.

This is the view of the ocean from where the lower-floor porch will be.  You get a better view higher up, but that's all imaginary right now.

More house sprouting up from the sand.

This is the length of the house, from street to dunes.  It will be high, too, at 3 stories (5 levels altogether).
